COVID precautions

COVID -19 pandemic is hard on all of us. Our public health unit- KFL&A regularly updates the screening and operation guidelines

Visitors to KABS, please follow KFL&A guidelines for COVID-related symptoms like:

Do not enter if you have:

  • Fever and/or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • Decrease or loss of taste and/or smell

  • Extreme fatigue, lethargy, or malaise

  • Muscle aches or joint pain

  • Nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea

  • Sore throat

  • Rhinorrhea or nasal congestion

  • Headache



Visitors to KABS, also

  • Do not enter if:

  • You or someone you live with travelled outside of Canada AND has been advised to quarantine (as per federal quarantine requirements)

  • A doctor, healthcare provider, or public health unit told you that you should currently be isolating (staying at home)

  • In the last 10 days, you have been identified as a “close contact” of someone who has tested positive on a COVID-19 test (PCR, rapid molecular, or rapid antigen) and are required to isolate.

  • In the last 10 days, you have tested positive on a COVID-19 test (PCR, rapid molecular, or rapid antigen).

  • In the last 10 days, anyone you live with is currently experiencing any new COVID-19 symptoms and you are required to isolate.


For our business, KABS:

  • Masks are mandatory in our facility

  • We are only allowed 50% capacity in our building therefore, please do not come to the doors until your scheduled appointment time.

  • When you enter our building you must self screen in the front door and fill the contact tracing form, one per family.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting of the work space is done between each client and periodically throughout the day.
